Dr. Simodynes is a Board Certified Dermatologist. His interests include medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. He is a member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, American Medical Association, the American Academy of Dermatology, and the Colorado Medical Society.
Dr. Simodynes graduated from the University Of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana with an undergraduate degree in science pre-professional studies.
Dr. Simodynes graduated with High Distinction in 2003 from the University Of Nebraska College Of Medicine in Omaha. During his medical studies he received several academic awards and scholarships and served on the medical school admissions committee. In addition to his training in Omaha, he participated in a summer volunteer initiative in Antigua, Guatemala where he cared for patients afflicted with various neuromuscular disorders.
Dr. Simodynes completed his internship in Internal Medicine at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis and his residency in Dermatology at the University Of Colorado Health Sciences Center, here in Denver. During his Dermatology residency, he served as a member of the UCHSC Trust Advisory Board and as a representative on the Housestaff Association.
Dr. Simodynes lives in Denver with his wife, daughter, and two boxer dogs. He enjoys many of the outdoor opportunities available in Colorado, specifically snowboarding, hiking, camping, cycling, and white-water rafting. Dr. Simodynes is an avid college football fan and also makes time for gardening, cooking, walks with the dog, reading, and traveling.
