Credentials
Dr. Charya B. Goldsmith is a board certified dermatologist, specializing in general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Goldsmith graduated Phi Beta Kappa from The University of Georgia’s Honors Program on full academic scholarship with highest honors, as a triple major in Genetics, Biology, and Microbiology. Dr. Goldsmith received her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia, while on academic scholarship, in Augusta, Georgia; graduating at the top of her medical school class, earning several academic awards and honors, including induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
Dr. Goldsmith went on to complete her Dermatology Residency at the University of Florida where she served as Chief Resident and was awarded the University of Florida Resident Educator Award for her excellence in teaching. After completing her residency, Dr. Goldsmith joined the University of Florida faculty to continue her work in clinical resident education while serving as the department’s cosmetic dermatologist.
A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Dr. Goldsmith currently resides in Lawrenceville, GA with her husband and son. She is actively involved in her community as a member of the Junior League and her church. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family & friends, traveling, running, crafting, cooking & baking.
