"I saw Dr. Batta today for the first time. I had been going to a prominent Main Line dermatology practice and needed to find a new doctor because of a change in my health insurance, and I'm very glad I chose Dr. Batta. I came in for a full-body cancer screening, which I need regularly after having experienced many 2nd degree, and one 3rd degree, sunburns when I was in my teens and twenties. Right from the beginning, my experience with Dr. Batta's office was *much* better than I was used to with my previous dermatologist. The receptionist was very friendly and professional, and she didn't even lose her smile when she couldn't find my referral and had to call my insurance carrier. She said that I'd be seen in a minute, and I was--I waited less than five minutes before Dr. Batta's assistant (nurse or physician-assistant) called me back to an exam room. The assistant took my medical history very quickly, yet thoroughly and without rushing me. She then said the doctor would see me in a minute or two, and she was right--I didn't wait more than a couple minutes before Dr. Batta came in. She immediately gave me a sense of friendliness, caring and competence. We discussed a few points of concern from my medical history--again, thoroughly and quickly, but without making me feel rushed. The exam was at least as thorough--probably more so--than I was used to with my previous dermatologist (an excellent doctor as well), and Dr. Batta worked efficiently while also dictating her observations to her assistant and explaining everything that warranted an explanation. After completing the exam, Dr. Batta gave me a general report and some recommendations for taking better care of my skin. I had ample opportunity to ask questions and express concerns. In short, Dr. Batta and the practice's staff are excellent in every way."
