Dr. Mark Cheiken is a Board Certified dermatologist who has been caring for patients in Florida at his Palm Coast office for over 15 years. Now, Dr. Cheiken brings his knowledge, skills and experience to Julington Creek. Dr. Cheiken specializes in general dermatology, surgical dermatology and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Cheiken’s hospital training included a rotating internship, internal medicine and dermatology residency all completed at Ohio University – Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital. Dr. Cheiken received many awards during his training including Outstanding Resident Teacher.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Dr. Cheiken earned a Bachelor of Science degree at Albright College where he was a two sport varsity athlete (football and track). He attended medical school at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. After his graduation in 1991, Dr. Cheiken spent the next five years in northeast Ohio (Akron-Cleveland area) in his residency training. Dr. Cheiken founded Dermatology Associates of Northeast Florida in 1996, where he has served as medical director.

Dr. Cheiken is married to Kim, and they have two children, Danielle and Michael. He has been involved in the communities of Palm Coast and Jacksonville in various capacities including as a member of Flagler County Rotary Club, Flagler County Chamber of Commerce and the Gator Bowl Association.

Dr. Cheiken is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, Florida Society of Dermatology and Dermatology Surgery, Florida Society of Dermatology Surgery, American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery and is Board Certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Dermatology.
