Shaunté Wilks is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed to practice through the Florida Board of Medicine. She is fellowship trained in general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.
Shaunté is a Florida native and began her medical career as a scribe in the emergency room. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Pre-clinical Allied Health and a minor in Health Administration. She then went on to earn her Masters in Medical Science and Physician Assistant Studies at Nova Southeastern University, where she graduated with highest honors.
Shaunté specializes in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of skin, hair, and nail conditions for patients of all skin types. Patient education and preventative skin care are an integral part of her practice. Taking the time to listen and understand her patient’s particular needs, thereby building a long lasting as well as a trusting relationship is something she takes pride in. She also enjoys performing aesthetic procedures including Botox and injectable fillers in conjunction with establishing anti-aging regimens suitable for individual skin care needs.
Residing in the Winter Garden area, Shaunté spends most of her free time with her loving husband and two sons.
