Training/Experience
Dr. Shulstad has provided dermatological care in the Spring Hill area since 2004.
Dr. Shulstad completed his clinical Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree in 2009 after completing his residency which included over 1000 clinical hours in dermatology and dermatological surgery. In addition, this residency program included rotations in podiatry and wound care, as well as an opportunity to train in advanced surgery techniques and treatments at Moffitt Cancer Centers Cutaneous Oncology Department and Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma clinics.
Dr. Shulstad has published over 15 articles in peer reviewed journals relating to treatments of cutaneous malignancies and multiple dermatoses.
Board Certified by the Dermatology Nurses Association for advanced practice, as well as, by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the American Nurses Credentialing Center in Adult Health
Service and Professional Affiliations
Serves as a dermatology clinical preceptor for the University of South Florida’s College of Nursing Master’s and Doctoral students.
