Dr. Dominguez practices general, procedural (surgical and cosmetic), and pediatric dermatology, and has a special interest in medically complex patients with skin conditions caused by systemic diseases. He also has a clinical interest in patients with skin conditions who have underlying psychological conditions. Born and reared in Oregon, Dr. Dominguez graduated with a BA in human biology from Stanford University, earned his medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Medicine, and completed a family medicine internship. He entered a three-year dermatology research fellowship at Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Harvard School of Medicine in Boston, and then completed his dermatology residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, where he was named chief resident. Prior to joining Advanced Dermatology, Dr. Dominguez worked in a community hospital based practice for almost nine years. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Board of Dermatology, Gay and Lesbian Association of Dermatology, and the Gay and Lesbian Medical Association. Dr. Dominguez is conversant in Spanish. He is an LGBTQ+ advocate, and enjoys collecting Disney fine art and pins, staying fit, and caring for his cats.
