Dr. Stefanko, who is originally from Ohio, graduated Magna Cum Laude from Miami University in Oxford with a B.A. in Music and a B.S. in Marketing. She earned her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.
She completed a 1-year pediatric dermatology research fellowship at Children's Wisconsin in Milwaukee. After graduating from medical school with the Alpha Omega Alpha designation, Dr. Stefanko completed a 1-year internship in Pediatrics at Children's Wisconsin. She then completed dermatology residency training at Northwestern University in Chicago, where she served as Chief Resident for two years.
Her primary focus is general dermatology including acne, eczema, pediatric dermatology (birthmarks, hemangiomas, rashes), and skin cancer. Tailoring skincare plans to each adult’s and child's unique needs, Dr. Stefanko fosters individualized care, while also offering educational support to empower families in promoting healthy skin habits at home. This holistic approach not only addresses immediate dermatological concerns but also aims to cultivate long-term well-being for the entire family. Dr. Stefanko also specializes in conducting patch testing as part of dermatological assessments to determine contact allergies upon request.
She administers BOTOX® Cosmetic injectable treatments, achieving outstanding results in the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles. Dr. Stefanko's personalized and patient-centric approach ensures that each individual receives a tailored treatment plan, maximizing the effectiveness of BOTOX® Cosmetic injections.
Dr. Stefanko is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS), the Pediatric Dermatology Research Alliance (PeDRA), and the Society for Pediatric Dermatology (SPD).
She loves to spend time outdoors hiking and jogging with her dog and practices yoga and Pilates. She enjoys reading, playing cards and board games, and doing jigsaw puzzles. She plays flute in the local community concert band.
