Mia has advanced post-graduate training as a physician assistant in dermatology. Her clinical focus is on the prevention and treatment of skin cancer, as well as skin rejuvenation.
She graduated Cum Laude from Florida State University, Tallahassee, FL, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology. She then continued her education at Nova Southeastern University, Orlando, FL, where she earned her Master of Medical Science degree in physician assistant studies, also earning multiple Chancellor’s and Dean’s List awards for academic excellence.
Mia has the experience and knowledge to diagnose and treat a wide range of common and complex concerns including skin cancer, acne, psoriasis, eczema, rashes, rosacea, warts, and moles. She enjoys helping her patients understand their diagnosis and plan of treatment so they can become active partners in their own care.
Mia is a member of the Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Outside of the office, her interests include reading, exploring new local restaurants, and spending time with her rescue dog.
