Credentials
Kirsten DeKoster, MPAS, PA-C, grew up in Colorado and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Health Humanities minor at the University of Colorado Denver.
She then went on to pursue a Master of Physician Assistant Studies with a focus on dermatology through her capstone project highlighting early melanoma detection strategies. Before graduating cum laude from San Juan Bautista School of Medicine, Kirsten received the Robert A. Ramos Memorial Scholarship for her involvement in growing the physician associate profession in Puerto Rico during her clinical year rotations on the island and her work in the first Student Alliance group within Physician Associates for Latino Health (an official caucus of the American Academy of Physician Associates).
Kirsten continues to be an active member of the Physician Associates for Latino Health, the American Academy of Physician Associates, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, the Colorado Academy of Physician Associates, and Colorado Dermatology Physician Assistants.
She is thankful to be back near family in her home state to continue her passion for dermatology while providing the best medical, surgical, and cosmetic care to all of her patients.
