Credentials
Judi grew up in Ocala and graduated with highest honors from the University of Florida with a double major in health science and psychology. She was a medical assistant at a dermatology office for 3 years where her passion for dermatology began. She then went on to PA school at PCOM Georgia, where she received the Sara Somers Rupert Humanitarian Award, and became board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed through the State of Florida Board of Medicine.
Judi is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. She completed a rigorous didactic and clinical dermatology training program which encompassed general, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology and is thrilled to be working in her dream career.
Judi has a particular interest in the preventative side of dermatology when it comes to skin cancer prevention and surveillance as well as patient education. She has a heart to care for others and looks forward to forming strong relationships with patients and playing an integral part in making their dermatology visit a pleasure. In her free time, she loves baking, cooking, practicing yoga, hiking, and spending time with family.
