Jennifer Z. Cooper, M.D., is a graduate of Wake Forest School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC. She. completed her Dermatology Residency at the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY.
Following her residency training, Dr. Cooper continued at the University of Rochester for fellowship training in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology under the auspices of Dr. Marc Brown.
Dr. Cooper has served on the faculty of the University of Rochester and the University of Maryland. She graduated medical school with AOA honors and was named Chief Resident her final year of her dermatology residency.
She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery.
Dr. Cooper has earned her reputation as a caring, highly-skilled Mohs Surgeon, and is thrilled to bring her knowledge and experience to patients throughout the communities she serves. Because Mohs has both a very high cure rate and conserves healthy tissue, it’s often the treatment of choice for visible or sensitive areas such as the face, scalp and neck.
