Ernie provides care to patients of all ages, and encourages them to talk about their concerns, and what they would like to accomplish.
He uses those discussions, along with their physical exam and medical history, to create customized treatment plans to help them achieve their best possible results.
Ernie is certified through the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed by the Maryland Board of Physicians.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Washington College in Chestertown, MD.
He then went on to earn his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Towson University, Towson, MD.
Ernie is credentialed to diagnose and treat dermatologic conditions and to perform various procedures such as shave and punch biopsies, excisions of basal and squamous cell carcinomas, moderately atypical nevi (moles) and cysts.
He is dedicated not only to skin cancer diagnosis but also to awareness and prevention. He helps his patients understand the importance of annual Total-Body Skin Cancer Exams in detecting skin cancer early, when it's most treatable.
