Erin Skaros completed her undergraduate studies at West Virginia University before pursuing her Physician Assistant training at Alderson Broaddus University. With nearly 15 years of experience in dermatology, she has served as both a faculty clinical instructor at the University of Pittsburgh and a clinician at UPMC, where she has provided exceptional patient care.
Trained in medical dermatology, Erin specializes in skin cancer detection, with experience in Mohs surgery. She is committed to promoting proactive skin health and follows the American Academy of Dermatology’s guidelines, which recommend annual total-body skin exams for the early detection and prevention of skin cancer. By emphasizing the importance of routine screenings and preventive care, she strives to educate and empower her patients to take an active role in maintaining their skin health.
