Credentials
Chris grew up in Winter Park, Florida and earned his undergraduate degree from Florida State University. He went on to graduate with honors from Nova Southeastern University in Jacksonville with his Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies. During his medical training in Jacksonville, Chris completed a clinical preceptorship in dermatology under the instruction of a board-certified dermatologist and Mohs surgeon. His training focused specifically on dermatologic surgery and plastics. In 2018 he completed a dermoscopy course at the prestigious Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.
Chris specializes in medical and surgical dermatology specifically Skin Cancer diagnosis and treatment, total body skin examinations, dermoscopy, surgical excisions and repair. He is proficient in the use of a dermatoscope, a tool that allows him to detect skin cancer in its earliest stages. Chris is certified by the NCCPA and is licensed to practice through the South Carolina Board of Medical Examiners. He is also a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
In his free time, Chris enjoys spending time with his family. He loves exploring outdoors and takes frequent trips to the mountains to hike and enjoy the scenery.
