Dr. Alison Bailey, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist and Mohs micrographic surgeon.
A native of the Chicago suburbs, Dr. Bailey completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she graduated with honors in Psychology. She then pursued her medical education at Loyola University of Chicago.
Following medical school, Dr. Bailey underwent extensive residency training in dermatology at the Medical University of South Carolina, where she distinguished herself by serving as chief resident in her final year.
Dr. Bailey is deeply passionate about dermatologic surgery, with a particular focus on skin cancer treatment and reconstructive surgery post-skin cancer removal. Her dedication led her to further specialize through a rigorous fellowship year in Mohs surgery and facial reconstruction at the Medical University of South Carolina, home to one of the nation's top Mohs fellowship programs.
Dr. Bailey is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of the Women's Dermatologic Society.
