Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery, the nation’s largest dermatology practice, acquires dermatology clinic in Pennsylvania.
ADCS Clinics (“ADCS”) announced it has completed the acquisition of Milstein Batta Dermatology in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; a dermatology practice founded by Dr. Harold Milstein who is Board Certified in Dermatology.
Dr. Milstein is a graduate from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Prior to completing his dermatology residency at Temple University Skin and Cancer Hospital in Philadelphia, he performed a one-year internal medicine residency to improve his diagnostic acumen followed by a surgical residency to enhance his surgical technique and skill. Upon completion of these residencies, Dr. Milstein attended numerous dermatology courses in the area of cancer surgery, cosmetic surgery, sclerotherapy, chemical peels, laser surgery and skin rejuvenation.
Dr. Milstein has been caring for patients for a few decades in Philadelphia and the surrounding area. The practice has since grown to 5 locations to better to serve his patients in general and cosmetic dermatology as well as skin cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Dr. Matt Leavitt, Founder and CEO of ADCS, said, “He is a distinguished dermatologist and is widely regarded as one of the supreme teachers in our field. With his incredible knowledge of dermatology and his nurturing way with patients it is easy to understand why he has built such a legacy in greater Philadelphia.”
“This acquisition continues to expand our national presence especially in the densely populated Mid-Atlantic market,” said Dave Morell, President of ADCS.
ADCS, founded in 1989 by Dr. Matt Leavitt, is a dermatology-focused practice with 100 clinics in Colorado, Florida, Ohio, Nevada, Michigan, Pennsylvania and South Carolina providing clinical, cosmetic, surgical and pathology services. ADCS also provides billing and coding management services for almost 90 third-party dermatology practices across the nation under the Ameriderm™ trade name.
