MAITLAND, Fla., Jan. 5, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — via PRWEB – ADCS Clinics (“ADCS”) announced it has completed the acquisition of Spencer Dermatology Skin Surgery Center in St. Petersburg, Florida; a dermatology practice founded by Dr. James Spencer who is Board Certified in Dermatology and fellowship trained in Mohs surgery.
Dr. Spencer is an internationally recognized expert in skin cancer treatment and cosmetic dermatology. A frequent speaker at medical symposiums both here and abroad, he is a sought after educator for other physicians to learn cosmetic and laser surgery, and is the author of over 60 scientific publications. He received his graduate degree in Molecular Biology from Stanford University and his Medical degree from Columbia University.
He trained in Dermatology at the Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York and completed a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery, a highly specialized technique for the treatment of skin cancer that allows the highest cure rates possible.
He has previously been the Director of Mohs and Dermatologic Surgery at the University of Miami and most recently the Director of of Mohs and Dermatologic Surgery at The Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. He has now relocated to practice in the Tampa Bay area. Dr. Spencer is the Conference Chair of the 2015 Orlando Dermatology Aesthetic and Clinical Conference.
