ADCS Clinics (“ADCS”) announced it has completed the acquisition of Coastal Dermatology & Skin Cancer Center with offices in Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda, Florida; a dermatology practice owned by Stephen A Spencer, MD, a board certified dermatologist.
Dr. Spencer received his medical degree from the University of South Florida, College of Medicine. His internship was completed at the Washington D.C. Veteran’s Administration Medical Center and Georgetown University Hospital. He completed his dermatology residency at the University of South Florida College of Medicine In 1986. Since that time he has been practicing in Charlotte County.
In addition to general dermatology, Dr. Spencer has special interest in skin cancer detection and removal, including Mohs micrographic surgery.
Dr. Spencer previously served as President of the Florida Society of Dermatologic Surgeons, President of Florida West Coast Society of Dermatology, President of the American Society of Mohs Surgery and President of the University of South Florida College of Medicine Alumni Society.
