Dr. Aneja is known for her thoughtful and thorough approach, which focuses on long-term relationships and comprehensive care for patients of all ages. Her clinical passions include treating acne, managing skin cancer, and helping patients achieve their cosmetic goals, and she continues to integrate breakthrough treatments and technologies – including energy-based laser devices – into her practice.
Her academic journey began at Columbia University in New York, followed by medical school at Case Western Reserve University/Cleveland Clinic, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, and met a mentor who introduced her to the field of dermatology. Residency training took her to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, and she also served as a Clinical Teaching Fellow at Harvard Medical School. She completed her dermatology residency at the University of Texas, Houston and MD Anderson Cancer Center, with a focus on cutaneous oncology and procedural dermatology.
An accomplished researcher, Dr. Aneja’s work has appeared in top medical journals such as JAMA Dermatology, JAAD, and the British Journal of Dermatology. She has co-authored several textbook chapters, including contributions to Kanerva’s Occupational Skin Diseases and Scientific American Medicine.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Aneja is actively involved in education. As a volunteer faculty member for the KCU-GME Consortium/ADCS Orlando Dermatology Residency Program, she enjoys mentoring and training future dermatologists, combining her love of teaching with her commitment to advancing the field.
She finds excitement in the fast-paced evolution of dermatology, especially the continuous innovations in treatments and procedures that improve patient care each year. Outside of medicine, she enjoys crafts, baking, and exploring new adventures with her husband, sons, and their dog.
