Dr. Lisa Nyanda-Manalo (Dr.Nyanda) is a dual board-certified dermatologist (American Board of Dermatology) and pediatrician (American Board of Pediatrics) whose professional journey reflects her deep commitment to comprehensive patient care. What inspired her to pursue dermatology was a profound desire to help patients with a wide spectrum of skin conditions, improve their quality of life, and make a lasting difference through skin cancer prevention and treatment.
Dr. Nyanda earned her medical degree from Meharry Medical College and graduated summa cum laude from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science. Dr. Nyanda completed her dermatology and pediatric residences at the University of South Florida. She served as Academic Chief Resident during her final year of dermatology residency. Her dual certifications allow her to uniquely understand the dermatologic needs of patients from infancy through adulthood.
She holds a faculty position at the KCU-GMEC/ADCS Orlando Dermatology Residency Program and is a member of the Medical Executive Committee at Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery (ADCS). Recognized as a fellow of both the American Academy of Dermatology and American Academy of Pediatrics, Dr. Nyanda maintains the highest standards of clinical excellence while contributing to the advancement of dermatologic education and practice. Her expertise spans medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, with special interests in pediatric dermatology, skin cancer management, and ethnic skin care.
She is a published researcher in peer-reviewed journals, she remains actively engaged in advancing dermatologic knowledge while training future dermatologists. Dedicated to patient-centered care, Dr. Nyanda believes in combining evidence-based medicine with personalized treatment approaches.
